  Demographic Information

Since 1867, The Manchester Enterprise has been the voice of the Manchester community, a growing and thriving area which includes the village of Manchester and the four surrounding townships of southwest Washtenaw County: Manchester, Sharon, Freedom and Bridgewater. In The Manchester Enterprise, look for coverage of school board, village and township meetings for these communities as well as interesting local features about people you know. Sports and editorial coverage received special distinction in 2000 from the Michigan Press Association's Better Newspaper awards. Under continuous ownership by founder Mat D. Blosser for the first 72 years of its existence, the newspaper went through a series of private owners before being purchased by Heritage Newspapers in 1999. Heritage became part of 21st Century Newspapers in 2002.
